Kershaw Boxes

I have quite a few Kershaw knives. Recently I've been buying some of the cheaper models that come in the stupid clamshell packaging. Well, of course I'm going to open the packaging to play around with the knife. But, after opening, I don't have any option other than storing the knives "loose". I contacted Kershaw to see if they would sell me the box style packaging to store these knives. It also helps the collection if everything is nice and neat. Kershaw said they would not sell me any packaging or paperwork. Does anyone know of where I could obtain just the boxes? I also tried eBay with no luck. Thanks for any help.
 
I've tired looking for a couple here and there with no luck. I just keep them in bubble wrap or ziplock bags
 
its odd that they won't sell/send you boxes. I bought a ZT 0551 (I know, different division) w/o a box and papers. I called KAI and asked for a replacement and they stated that they could send everything except the sticker for the box...date coded or something I believe. When I sold the knife the new owner didn't seem to mind at all.
 
No like the packaging you see in retail stores that sell knives.. Those stupid ones that are a pain to open.
 
 
I have the ZT bag works pretty good but the center section is kinda limited on what knives you can put in it. If you fill up one side then you cant fit anything on the other its to tight.
 
The fix for that is a 2nd bag ;)
I fill the center pockets with Leeks and Shallots.
 
I have all the boxed my knives came in (unless I got it used without a box) but I like them on the shelf where I can see them and handle them if I want. It is a hassle to take them in an out of the box and I can't look at them. But I only have around 20 knives.
 
I agree with ya, I like having boxes and such for all my knives. Thats where I keep em, or in my maxpedition fatty [its exclusive just for knives so I put a microfiber cloth in between to separate em], as well as a victorinox travel bag that is able to take like 4 single pouch knives + has 3 side pockets for knives. I also keep them in these nifty bubble packs. I rarely see em for sale, but i got some high quality ones with my GPU of all places lol. Its a bubble wrap but its made in the form of like a purse/wallet shape [imagine a paper folded in thirds, fold one up as the pocket, and the last portion is the lid :p]. Ill take a pic later when I get a chance. it gives great protection, you can stuff em together without worry in a small pouch/bag, and these had plenty of room. I think scotch used to make some of these, I havn't seen em for sale in a while.
