Hello all

I went to a large flea market yesterday and came across this older Kershaw. I figured it was worth buying, especially for $4.00. Scales are definitely bone, looks like a bear is etched on with 269/1000 in the bottom right hand corner.

That was a real steal. Really nice knife.

Dave will be able to give you a positive ID.

Tagged... can't wait to hear about this one! That is a BEAUTY!

Those were made in the early 80's and on for a while, would need to look at catalog to tell you for sure, you have the latest run, there were three different runs. They are model numbers 2105, 2110 and 2120 they look the same and yours will have a model number on the other side of the tang. these have always been one of my favs. I will find some photos and add them in a little while. Handle material is water buffalo bone and the blade steel is either AUS6 or AUS8.

I have attached a photo, you were clearly see three different production runs, the earliest being on top and the latest with glued on scales on the bottom. These three are all 2105's the smallest knife in the sets. second photo has many knives in this series, top of middle row and far right row. Third photo is newer photo after collection grew, I got two nice sets of this series added, one set with petrified wood handles and one set with Oregon Jasper handles.
