Kershaw, Ken Onion Assisted opener

I just got one of these, and I'm just flabbergasted. Not only is it just about the sharpest knife I've ever gotten out of the box, it just feels great in my hand. It's a little big for me to carry around (I usually carry a CRKT Mirage or Commander Ace - both pretty small knives), but i still do carry it

. Finally, a non-auto (hopefully there won't be legislation on this fine piece of workmanship and engineering defining it to be an "auto" knife) knife that i can use one handed while I'm wearing my thick leather gloves. WooHoo!

Sorry if there was already a thread about this knife, but i just had to sound off.

The only things about this knife are the things that I'm just not used to. For one, I've never really carried a knife with a blade with such a high carbon content. i doubt that would be much of a problem, I just need to keep it clean and dry and use that tuf-cloth (tm) stuff on it. But then these are just my problems, if they are really problems.

In any case this knife is one that I'll be carrying for quite a while.

I have to agree with Kershaw`s sharpness "out of the box". I`m glad someone else has noticed! I handled a few at Cove Cutlery not too long ago. The Kershaw (Wild Turkey I think it was called..??) was as sharp as the Daltons I was there to see. It made me take a second look at Kershaw products. I`m impressed!

I just ordered mine - and I must say - I cant wait. I chose the Black OUT version cause it just looked WICKED COOl and had the lines "just right."

This is is one of the few knife orders I placed that it literaly making me feel like a kid waiting for christmas.
Chistmas in just 3 days!!!!!!!!!
