Kershaw Military Boot Knife!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Alright look. About seven years ago I wandered into a knive shop and was looking at what I was told was a 'Kershaw Military Boot knife' Then it cost $100, and I thought "who would ever spend that on a knife" (give me a break- I was young and stupid, today I carry an Emerson CQC-6 that cost alot more than that), and I didn't buy it. Now I am a serious(delerious?) knife collector, and I want to know if anyone here has ever seen this knife. I have been looking for it for about a year, and I can't find a trace of it. The knife I remember was about eight inches over all, double edged, with grey micarta?G-10? handles. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT I"M TALKING ABOUT??? Or am I insane? Please help me confirm/deny the existance of this knife.

Thank you,
JOE

Are you talking about the Kershaw Trooper? I believe this knife has a mirror polished guard and pommel with some dark wood handle. And it comes with a leather sheath that has a steel clip on it. I think it also had a blood groove in the blade too, but someone will have to confirm that.

Or perhaps it was the one piece knife that was bead blasted, integral guard, black micarts slabs sort of "inlayed." It had a boot style black leather sheath with metal boot/belt clip. It was an attractive, simple design.

Mr. President, I believe you have hit the nail on the head! this is the knife I was talking about, now, DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND ONE???!!!???

It may be a stretch but I think Brigade Quartermaster was selling this knife atthe time of its release. They just might have some leftover....maybe. Otherwise I have no clue. Looks like some detective work is needed.

This looks like a case for Double Oh Behave!

If you can't get one in the US, drop me a line as they are still available in South Africa. Price is around $120 last time I checked.

The knife you describe sounds like a Kershaw Trooper which is technically a boot knife. The handle is Ebony. Here's a pic to help solve the mystery.

The knife in this picture is my 20 year old knife. They're very well done. New ones list for about $300 though I have seen them on the net for about $100 less.

I found the current version at the Knife Center of the Internet, they are $199.99, and are in stock. Not sure if it is the same as the one you were looking for.

Not the knife I was looking for. The knife I'm after is slimmer and from the looks of the pic, longer. No, the knife I want is not the Trooper.

Thanks,

JOE

I'm sorry, I don't know what you are talking about, but excuse me, being young doesn't exactly mean that you are stupid. I am 14 and I know a whole lot more than you or anyone might think, but I get along life normally.
