Hey Guys, I was honored to be asked by Kestella to make a Fiddleback version of his bushcrafter (also available from Scott Gossman).
Kevin is in a state where 4" is some magical legal # that means a knife is dark magic. So his spearpoint bushcrafting knife has a 3.9" blade over a 4.5" handle. The handle is what Scandanavians would call an grown up handle. Meaning that there isn't protection for the fingers built into the design as there would be in children's knives.
Its a really comfortable working design. Compact and easy to carry. I'm making 5 of them right now. The first to be completed is this convex version. Today I'll be sanding handles on 4 more in 3/32" thick scandi with spalty goodness.
