kevlar watch bands?

I have one with this watch

I like it a lot. It needs another hole though because my wrists are a bit small. Won't crack like leather, tough and salt water proof.

I wore one for about a week and didn't care for it. The material felt stiff and scratchy. I prefer smoother materials like metal or rubber (or the rubber-like synthetics).

wonder safe is it.

Yes, how safe is it. Will it give way if caught or will my hand / arm
get ripped off if I get caught on something. Don't laugh fella's it can
and does happen. Nah, me I'll pass for leather or expansion bands.
They will let go if pulled hard enough.

The watch pins on the lugs and buckle will give out long before anything dangerous can happen to your hand... Even on leather bands and Expansion bracelets, it will be the pins that go before the leather or links...
