Hi folks -

Many of the new guys probably have not seen this sweet little offering from JK. This is called the Keychain Companion, and John offered them in a couple of configurations. They are great little knives and the sheath has a keychain ring on it so you can have a "tin knife" sized blade with you all the time.

Here is a two-finger version -

And here is one I bought for a friend as a gift - it is a little larger -

It came with a serious edge - not a toy knife-

It was all K!

This little guy is with me anytime I have pants on. It gets used more than any other knife I own.

Awesome little backup blade for your backup blade. :D Talk about an unobtrusive EDC. Nicely made sheath too.

The first one is the early design, but I have not made either one in quite a while. Maybe it`s time to start them again.

John this is exactly why I have tried to stay away! Surfed the site yesterday, already signed up for an Urban hawk and now I am lustig after your pack knives again! Great products John! I love a lot of the new and old designs!

I always thought this one had perfect lines. I wonder if John has the pattern to make a copy?

What are the dimensions, blade length & height, overall length? Is it 1/8" thick? It all works together very nicely.

Height was 1" and it`s 1/8" thick. I`ll check the pattern tomorrow for the other dimensions.

That's 1 lucky friend. That's a perfect little knife as far as I'm concerned.
I like the slightly larger version with the keychain. It's really cool.

....I was just gonna show off some of your paracord work.....

The JK necker is doing a good job of "hanging in there"....

Looks good Rick. We need to do something black & orange for that necker. I think I'm gonna do a little research on the keychain companion, I like the slightly larger version.
