Keychain flashlight?

I am trying to decide on a flashlight that I can use for my keychain, but I'm having a little difficulty. My dad has a Maglite Solitaire, but I think I want something with a little more power and higher quality. I've been looking at some of the Fenix lights, but I am really new to flashlights so I'm not sure which one would be best for me. I am looking at:

Fenix E01
Fenix Digital L0D Q4
Fenix L1T V2.0 Q2
Fenix Digital LD01

I would really appreciate if someone could lead me in the right direction with this. Also, I am not set on Fenix brand; if there are any other flashlights that would work for a keychain, please let me know.

Last thing: I know people might say that it might not be a good idea to have a flashlight on your keychain because all that extra weight will ruin your ignition, but I always take my car keys off my carabiner before I start my car.

Anything you get for a keychain is going to be a compromise between small and light and providing a decent amount of light.

I chose what I think is the better solution and have some good led lights I keep around the house and in the car and put a small led light on the keyring.

This one provides enough light to walk down a path at night without being annoyingly large and bulky.

You should Definitely look into the Photon II and freedom micro lights. I have one and it amazes the hell out of anyone that sees it in action, super light, super small.

I have to second the photon freedom, or even the super bright new Photon Rex, which charges off a normal AA or D battery. Super cool light, and super bright.

Ill third the photon lights, I have a photon II on my keys and my wife and I both have a freedom in red attached to are edc SAK's . I just got the freedoms and they came with a clip that can attach to a hat or what ever and a necklace rig also all for 14 bucks ,

Photons are good:D

You can't go wrong with a Fenix E01 it's a great little light.

Take a look at Inova Microlights they feature 4 constant on/off functions:
-High power
-Low power
-Strobe
-Signal mode

i have a maglite solitaire, i can say only that is worth nothing, the light goes on and off when i light it, sometimes it doesnt work at all
so yes, dont get that one

I bought one of the little Fenix EO-1s and am very happy with it, it now goes everywhere with me on a lanyard with a micro pry bar on the other end. Both came from CountyComm.com and were not at all expensive, the lights are about $15.00. I have given away so many of the pry bars I buy them 6 at a time and I will probably buy a couple more of the lights for family.

Is "all the extra weight on the ignition switch" really a valid concern? My dad always goes on about that, but I've been driving for decades now and never had a problem with my ignition switches, even if my keys get a bit heavy (knock wood).

Sorry for the OT post....

Okay so I'm thinking I'm probably either going to go with a photon light or an E01. Thanks for all the input.

I never really heard about it until a few months ago on the forums, and I have seen more than a few posts about it. Honestly I'm not really sure how bad it is on the ignition, but it's very easy for me to take my car key off the carabiner so I don't really mind.
