I don't know about anyone else, but for my job I have to wear clothes that are not dressy, but still professional which means button-up shirt and tan slacks. Jeans are usually reserved for the weekend. But I always carry my Endura around, even though the black handle sticks out like a sore thumb. Sal, would you please make an Endura with a tan Zytel handle?

How about a silver (SS) clip - hit it with some super fine scotchbrite to give it a matte finish.

Silver is less noticible on the light colored fabrics.

Trav, I've been carrying a Veile in my back pocket at work for the last year or so. Most of the time I'm not wearing a blazer so the clip is in plain view. I've never had anyone mention it. Silver or satin clips are far less out of place than black clips at work. Just my opinion.

There are only two types of people; those who understand this, and those who think they do.

TRAV - I think the easiest solution at this time is to paint the clip (a good powder coat should stick for a while) or get some tan "shrink tubing" at your hardware store, put it over the clip and shrink it up.

building colored clips is a difficult undertaking, although I will admit that we are working on it.

Sounds to me like TRAV is talking about the butt end of his Endura, not the clip. Most people don't even recognize the clip as being part of a knife, regardless of its color -- I can carry my CF Dragonfly in my shirt pocket without anyone commenting.

My suggestion TRAV, would be to buy some black slacks. Then your Endura will blend in.

Sal, out of curiosity, what is the minimum production run for a non-standard zytel handle color?

Thanks.

Does the fact that most people out there still don't recognize a pocket clip for a one-hand folder mean that there's lots and lots and lots of room for growth in the sport-utility knife industry?
