Khukuris on Primetime!

Gentlemen:

Did anyone happen to catch Primetime Thursday night? According to my Wife, Diane Sawyer interviewed a crime writer, Patricia Cornwell, about Jack the Ripper. This woman has poured more than $4 million dollars into solving the 113 year old mystery.

I was out of town on business, and my wife said the TV was on while she was reading. The volume was low and she glanced up to see this woman holding a Khukuri in one hand and either the Karda or Chakma in the other. By the time the remote was found the interview was over.

My wife said that the K looked to be very well made, and after narrowing the field a bit, it was likely a BAS design. Heidi said that it may have even been HI.

Did anyone see this particular segment? I'm amazed ABC allowed a fully loaded assault Khukuri on the set with all the heightened security.:D

See my "Khuk on TV" (think that's what I called it) thread. I never heard any mention of khuks or the knives possibly employed, just the pics would flash by. If I missed something, I'm curious what was said.
 
My apologies, Fir! I didn't see your thread-- I was suffering from long week lag last night. Cool, However that you at least saw what the Khuk my wife mentioned.

Thanks for your visual confirmation of the BAS! My wife is getting pretty good at Khuk spotting. This can only make life easier for me.
(Truth be told--She is very understanding of her 32 year old child;))
