Banning specific breeds is simply racism in the canine world, and it's surprising how many people are willing to climb onto that bandwagon. Dogs ,like people, should be judged as individuals and vicious individual dogs should be tightly controlled regardless of the breed.[ In fact the most agressive dog I've ever met was a cuddly female French Bulldog, my wife and I were fostering, who would attack any other animal withour provocation or warning. She was lovely with people though, and went to a home with no other pets. She may well have to be leashed and muzzled her whole life ,when she's off her property,]
