Hi folks,

I was fortunate enough to pick up a couple of these knives and I'm quite impressed. One was a Hawbaker Muskrat pattern with ATS-34 blades and another was a great big locking hunter pattern with a wharncliff secondary blade and a retractable philips screwdriver on the back spring. The hunter blades are AUS 8. The blade steel on both of these leads me to conclude they were made in Japan. I'm wondering if anyone has any more details.

Also, I'd be curious to learn more about all the different patterns that have been released. I'm not a member of the K.C.C., but maybe there is a web resource somewhere that shows all or some of the past models? I'd also to hear people's comments or impressions. Thanks for sharing!

One of the best made production knives I own is a A.G. Russell's K.C.C. knife. Check out the width of the spine on the master blade. One stout little whittler!!

Greg,

That whittler is a beauty! I have seen one online for sale and it has been calling out to me. You nice photo sure isn't helping matters at all...
