The knives on our Inshore Rescue Boats are due to be replaced.
I'm considering suggesting the Benchmade 100SH2O. Would this be a good choice? Has anyone used H1 steel in a marine environment?
Thanks guys

Haven't used the H1 version Steven but I've got the older R&R knife in 440C. It's a great knife and a good design. Will spot slightly with rust if not maintained however. It should be noted that this slight spotting only occured after using it in saltwater then putting it away wet in it's sheath for 2-3 days (something that I would consider serious neglect)If the H1 is more rust resistant than this then I imagine it will be fine in that regard. Maybe someone else can comment on the edge performance.
