Knife oil info needed plz

Whats a good oil to use if your knife is being used for cutting food or something in the nature.

Bear in mind that some people (my self included ) do not use oil or water at all.

I don;t use oil on the blade, but I will on the pivot of a folder.... regular light machine oil or 3-in-1 is fine. If you're using it for food prep, then I would oil the pivot with a regular light machine oil or 3-in-1.
