I know many people have mentioned in their posts that they are leery of using Tuff Cloth on knives that will be used to cut food. I recently received a catalog from the SausageMaker in Buffalo New York that sells everything you need to make sausage including various sizes of meat grinders. They also sell a SILICON spray that they claim is FDA approved for food preparation equipment. I always thought silicon to be at least somewhat toxic and definitely not for ingestion. Is any one familiar with "food grade silicon spray" ? If its safe to use in a meat grinder I would think it would be ideal for knife blades.
