This french maker does extremely good knives at a very low price.
I recently purchased one of his knives: a general purpose fixed blade, hidden tang. The blade is in carbon steel, forged and differentially heat treated japanese-style. The the blade isn't mirror polished, but has a nice satin finish.
The handle is of exotic wood.
All this for the incredible sum of 170 ...
And that's the price the retailer made me...
The blade has proven itself to keep a very keen edge for a long time, even if cutting tough, abrasive materials like leather and wood.
Really a fine piece.
