Knife to go with hawk???

I've got a HB forge shawnee hawk, and Im looking for a good knife to go with it. Specifically, I want this knife to be a fighter (think "The Patriot") to accompany it. It doesnt have to be something special (the hawk isnt too unique) , but something that would be simple, attractive and effective. Maybe something that could be thrown as well? Id much prefer the knife to be a forged type (again think: Period). For anyone curious as to what the hawk looks like, here tis-- Any ideas/recommendations/sources?? Not found anything to my liking yet. NW

Good users and throwers are rarely the same knife, although I've seen a few that could do a modest job at both tasks. If you want a dedicated thrower, the perfect companion to your Shawnee would be H & B's leather handled, forged thrower (at www.hbforge.com , naturally). It is my second favorite thrower (and my favorite is no longer produced).

If I ever hit the lottery, the hawk and knife set that I most want is the Fowler/Szilaski collaboration (discussed in a recent thread in the hawk & axe forum).
 
Ive found a couple makers off the ezboard link that Im gonna look into. I didnt even realize we had a hawk/axe forum (I spend most of my time in Comm.) Thanks Guys, NW
 
I have the same hawk a long with there squaw hawk and there throwing knife they all are fine hawks and throwers. But for a great hand forged knife try Billy Watson.
