I got to wondering, are there any brands or types of clothing designed to be used with knives, rather than the opposite?

The best one that I come up with is Royal Robbins, which I find to have more pockets in better places for my knives.

Oh, yes! I can make a contribution to this one. Dockers has a pair of pants called the Moble Pant. It's a normal-looking pair of kakhis with additional pockets that are not visable by casual inspection. It has a couple of added hidden zippers.

This is just about custom made for knife knuts who need lots of extra room to carry all our favorite "toys". They're available at JC Penney and I'm sure many other places.

I just got a pair of Carharts work pants, and they have great 'tool' pockets that fit fixed and folding blade knives very nicely!

Yes. Go to an American Eagle store. They have this one pair of pats that has 8 pockets on it. One is the exact size for my multi-tool. Another fits my cell phone perfectly. You still have a bunch of pockets over for all your other stuff. Fairly inexpensive @ $40.
