Dude, you really don't want a Walther P22. I have one and liked it initially. But after about 10,000 rounds it completely wore out. It's basically useless.
The slide no longer locks back on an empty mag, it drops the hammer to "half cock" every few rounds and has to be cocked manually. It's only reliable as a single-shot, single action now. I babied this gun and it still fell apart on me. And the accuracy was always pretty poor, even from a machine rest. You'd be better off with a Ruger or a High-Standard.

I'd trade you my P22, but you'd come out on the losing end no matter what you gave me for it.

robert - email sent

moonwilson - what year did you buy your p22? ive heard of alot of problems with the earlier models, but apparently in the last 2 years, walther has fixed most issues with the gun, and on top of that, s&w does repairs for walther and that they do a pretty damn good job of it. at least, thats what ive heard. have you ever sent the gun in for repair? how did the gun function before it crapped out?
