This is another Batch for Derrick. Five Nessies and five Hunters. Lots of Shadetree Phenolics in this batch. That burlap is amazing stuff.

Check out the Stabalized Black Ash Burl on this Nessmuk.

This blade also features a John Cohea based blade etch.

Burlap is really gorgeous on Nessmuks. Its synthetic rustic.

Check out the Stabalized Spalted Maple on this one.

EIRW over Paduk w/Cohea blade finish.

Notice the new tube material. The middle layer was thinner, so the hole is a smidge bigger. Looks sweet!

Pretty layered black and yellow burlap.

Burlap Hunter:

These will go out to Derrick tomorrow!

I haven't seen a lot of burlap micarta. I can only compare it to Bark River. I think the Shadetree is superior. Very nice.

I'm really loving the EIRW over Paduk.

There is an excellent chance it will be my handle of choice on my next Fiddleback.

I'm really sold on it too. As you can tell.

*drool drool!*

That new etch looks the bees knees.

Arrrggh enough already...is my Fiddleback here yet!! :D

That rare black ash turned out fantastic and I really like that spalted maple too. Great work Andy...

WTH! When did you start doing that deep curve on the handle of the Nessies like on the Black Ash Burl????? That is BEAUTIFUL! Best lines I've seen on a Nessie in a long time. I'd be curious to see what a Fiddleback Nessie with crown stag would look like. Regardless, you've got me really wanting to kick my cat (and his $600 uric crystal build-up) :grumpy:

Nice work! I really want a Hunter but should hold out for a kitchen knife if you end up making any. The next Fiddleback I purchase needs to be for my wife.

The large Nessmuk has that really beautiful pronounced curve under the handle. It almost looks like it would make it feel wierd to grasp, but the handle locks into your grip and is very comfortable to use.

I've never done one with crown, but I have a piece of mosse horn I've been saving to do one.

Seriosuly bro, holy shit. That one turned out awesome. Spalted maple is a hard one to beat.

Another Great Looking Bunch of Knives!
I am grateful you are liking and using my product so much.

Thank You Andy!

-Todd

Those Nessies are starting to grow on me.

Does anyone have a picture of one in hand?

I've seen several shots in the forum, but they seem to be the smaller version. Is this correct? Maybe a small and large version photo would be cool.

Thanks
