Well, here she is... Knut Sack Skinner 2
Handle is Walnut, finish is mildly aged 0-1. Pouch sheath needs made and off to Mark Williams for a test run. This is a modified design he sent me a LONG time ago. 5" blade and a full size handle makes this a versitile woodsman knife ready to chop or slice. Pretty good looking knife. I'll take this to this years P.W.Y.P. weekend in April after Mark playes with her.

Cant wait to fondle it B~

Sweet looking walnut too.

Bet that just plain has "the feel".

You dang sure did Knut sack skinner justice. I'll see if I cant borrow it back from my buddy and get a picture.

Great job :D

edited to add: go wash them nasty hands

That is a truly awesome knife. Its hard to make a large chopping type knife, like this, look smooth and fluid. You did it! Is that a mustard finish on the o-1? Great job! Fred

Its cold blue, left wet, then soaked in chlorox. Repeat as needed...then one last ferric etch.

You get those lines and radius's just right on your handles, they must feel like an old friend.. Good Job

You do excellent work, Mr. Good! When finished with the ferric etch, did you rub the blade with anything (Flitz, etc...), or did you leave the grayish oxide on the blade?

rub it with wd40 and 0000 steel whool :)

I've got three questions, and you need to know I'm working on getting a .223 Ruger M77 MKII worked on now but if you can give me a yes on them and are willing to wait 'till sometime next summer I'm game,'cos Krull like knife!:D
Now:
1-can it be had in stainless? I like AUS-6;AUS-8;VG-10;or even 'ol 440c SV30 might be good as well.

2-handel-Micarta or G-10? black???

3-sheath-Kydex??
