Kumar made a half dozen of these models which look pretty much like a village style WWII model -- 17 inches and about 1.75 pounds. Tough! Good fit, satin finish, hardened to about 60 Rc. Nice scrollwork and brass inlay. Steel mounted. Made to do the job. And, amazingly Kumar has signed his name in Devanagari!!! Star included, of course. HI logo marked and HI quality except for magic stone mirror finish and wood finish.

Good karda and chakma.

Excellent scabbard and frog by village sarki with steel chape.

Take these half dozen home for $75 each. Less than five bucks per inch for a knife that will do the job for 100 years.

Call or email.

Hmmmmmmmm..........Tempting..........:)

"Kumar has signed his name in Devanagari!!! "

Now if they would all do this......

Two left.

Have one with old style tooled scabbard. Very slight damage at mouth of scabbard -- some kiwi shoe polish fix. If anybody has a hankering for this villager with tooled scbbard (pretty decent one) buzz me.

All those prostestations to show you're fairness are for naught. Once a little black duck, always a little black duck.

Evil Twin wanna-be? Tsimi I'm the good half.:p
Think about it. Here's an example
Tsimi: Florida. Hot. Muggy. Your home
Rog: Colorado: Cool(er). Quiet(er).My home
Tsimi: Irascible
Rog: Wonderful ( ok, work with me here)
I'm seeing a pattern. Me:Good. You: Dog Taco Grande

However, you have brought Yvsa over, ( I'm still crying at night over that one)and that counts for something big.

I totally agree on the Villagers. Thick, sharp and tough! I don't worry about polish; just whack whack whack!

Saint Jim speaks the truth. I got one of these a couple weeks ago and it's unbelievably sharp. Kumar builds them to perform.

(edit - Mine's way bigger, though! :D :D )

Uncle Bill - before you pack them all up, take a look at the "H.I." mark on them. Mine was different from the production blades. Are these also? Any insight to what the mark means?

...sometimes I get the feeling I've wandered into that part of the store where Mama has said "Stay outta there!"
