Well, I just got a call from Laci Szabo telling me that my Jaws IV- ATS-34 Satin finished with Black Micarta handles in finished. I'll post a review when I get it in two days.

That puppy is a snap-cutting "machine". It is a very small package for the whip force it produces. If you bought it for carry/protection, I am sure that you will like it. I am eager to here what you think of it.

I just got my Jaws IV and the knife is beautiful. It has a 6.5 inch ATS34 satin finished blade with a RC of 60. The blade is a hawkbill which is sharpened on both edges. There is a large finger guard and serrated thumb ramp. The handles are black micarta. The knife is designed by Laci Szabo and made by Larry Chew.

The ergonomics and balance of the knife are great and as Thaddeus wrote, it is excellent for snap cuts. The knife is great in forward and reverse grips and is wickedly sharp.

If anyone is interested in truly tactical blades then Laci Szabo has some great designs that definitely fit the bill.

Any chance we could get a link to a pic already online, or take a picture of your knife, scan it and put it online here?

I remember the pics of it that used to be up on the Black Cloud site. If I recall right, yours is stretched 1/2" from the LS/BK version. This knife was a MAJOR influence on The Outsider, the single biggest...TO can be described as the product of an unnatural act between the Jaws4 and a Khukuri
