I have ordered a ZT0300-dt. this knife has a reverse curve blade. I have only sharpened regular blades with my lansky sharpner.

Question:
1) can I use the lansky on a reverse curve blade?
2) if so is there any thing i should watch out for?

Any advice would be appricated.

I have the Kershaw Vapor. It has a recurve blade like your ZT. I have great sucess sharpening it with My GATCO. The GATCO has wider stones than the Lansky so I would think that the Lansky would sharpen your recurve just fine.

I sharpen it just like any other blade. It comes out just fine.

I have the Zt 0200 and a lansky. No problem getting a nice egde. the only problem is if you are using the stones instead of the diamond lansky, you will wear down the side faster, although, the diamond kit is rougher! :D:thumbup:

it's fine, if you use the regular (not diamond) stones you may try rounding the corners of the stones just a little to make sharpening a bit smoother, it's not necessary however.
