I don't personally know anyone that has one. You guys that own one-tell me what you think. Thanx

Big Tex:
I have 3 of Larry's knives D/A Cujo-Manuel Cujo Spawn-D/A Cujo Special, all knives are of the upmost quality in materal and workmanship.Larry is my maker of choice for good reason,I collect tactical folders and have or have held many from some well known makers that come close but do not quite have that little extra that Larry puts into each knife.
When you buy one of Larry's knives you also get exceptional customer service after the sale and a great guy to deal with as well.
For a detaled review of the Chew knives that I have look in my profile and do a search of my past post's.
Larry will be attending the Spirit of Steel show in Mesquite on Sept 28th 29th and 30th which would be a great time for a fellow Texan to view some of his work.

A new maker will be there as well and dersives a close look as his work is superb.
Larry Davidson, this guy has the potental to be one of the best, I have one of his knives and it is definatly a keeper.

Hope to see you at the show

Kevin

Big Tex,

Ive owned about 70 of Chew's Auto's. He makes some really great knives, especially that Quicksilver. <G>. I think he has an exceptional future in custom knives.

If you can get to the show in Mesquite, Larry is planning on having 4 D/A's there.

I presently have five of Larry"s knives.Best D/A Auto on the planet.FACT.

have a"knife"day

I have 2 of his D.A.folders.A mini spitfire with snakewood scales and mokume bolsters. The 2nd is Les's Vanguard Quicksliver. Both of these are excellent quality folders.I got the mini Spitfire about 3 yrs ago and I thought it was a great buy. When I saw a prototype of the Quicksliver at the N.Y.show I was amazed that Larry's work had got even better. The fit and finish was up there with the best makers. His pivot system has to be tried to feel how smooth it is.Words cannot describe it and absolutely no play in any direction.

I have a Spitfire that I got from Les. I had a small problem with it and e-mailed Larry. About a week later the problem was taken care of, above and beyond the call by both Les and Larry. Larrys knives are top notch, and his customer service is also top notch. I highly recommend his product. As Les has said before, get one now while you still can!

Although the point has been made, I couldn't let a thread like this pass without throwing in the fact that Larry's responsible for making the best D/A folder I've ever owned. And the customer service is exactly as Kevin has described and then some

You guys were right on about Larry's knives. I got a DA Cujo (Spawn) at the Spirit of Steel and I'm impressed. The action, fit, and finish are fantastic. Thanx for the input.

Big Tex:
Glad I had the chance to meet and talk with you at the show,It is great to put faces to names.
Enjoy the new Cujo Spawn

Kevin

Have been lucky to have been able to get to know Larry a little and have a TKCL knife on order with him. Been my usual patient self with the wait and now you guys have me drooling.

As many have stated, every one of his knives that I have been able to handle are awesome.
In MA use the actions have been like silk, DA like a machine and lockup as tight as it gets.

To top it off he is a great person to work with.

Spawn, fantastic choice - hope you enjoy it!
