I have put my name on Larry's list, so he will be making me a knife in the distant future. It's not a bad thing that he has a long delivery time. It will give me a chance to save up for the purchase. He told me that every once in awhile he would send me photos of knives so that I can check out the work he is doing. He sent me these photos today.

The first couple are of what many call a Goblin Folder. Larry calls it a forged scroll folder. It has a carved stag handle and patterm welded blade. This is a knife he made awhile ago and he is reselling it for a customer. The next three are of a hunter with a 3.5" 5160 blade, engraved nickel silver fittings and an alligator sheath.

Next are a couple of photos of a slip joint with carved Damascus blade and French grayed carved steel handles, accented with 14k gold pins, bail, and overlay on the spring. 2 3/8" blade, 5" OAL. The last photo is of a folder that has a Damascus blade with engraved steel bolsters, carved mammoth ivory handles, 14k gold pins and full file work on the liners and lockbar. 3 1/4" blade, 7 1/4" OAL.

I know these photos could be clearer, but you will get the idea. The folks that attend ECCKS are in for a treat.

I really like the look of that engraved hunter. Mr. F has got some MAD skillz:D

I Love the Amboyna Piece..hows that for a Sheath!
great work Great Guy!

I love the carbon steel hunter. Plain, by Larry's standards, but beautiful all the same.

I love the work that he does. There was a great section showing a few of Mr. Fuegens knives in Custom Fixed-Blade Knives by Dr. Darom.

One of my favorites is the knife carved in the profile of a beared man.

I saw these this tonight- thursday night. They were quite nice looking and he had one other small fixed blade that just melted into the hand.

Larry's carving is amazing. I bought a pearl pendant from him a couple of years ago and gave it to my wife. She has lots of very fine jewelry, but she says she gets the most comments when she wears this pendant.

I stopped at Larry's table twice. He had an older bowie/fighter that was very stylish and well done. I handled a small folder and it was superb in detail and finish. He is a gentleman and a true artisan I enjoyed seeing his work

i stopped b larry's table and saw these......first let me say that larry was a real gentleman and explained the making of these pieces and others from his portfolios and talked a little about making damascus spurs.....it was very interesting to talk with him.....the knives were nothing short of amazing....the little carved damascus folder was breathtaking....it was very smalland much heavier than i thought it would be.....the detail was amazing....i feel like you could put it under 100xmagnifaction scope and it would still be just as amazing.....i was almost scared to touch them but larry insisted.....it was very exciting to hold such a knife....knowing i would never be able to afford one......the other folder had the coolest ivor on it.....it was a cream brown color that was almost like milk chocolate to me.....it was such a nice color.....ryan
