What are the benefits if any of having a latchless Bali.?thanks, tom.

Better balance (even distribution of handle weight) and quieter manipulation (no latch noise). Works best for double edged bali's as there are no safe handle to worry about.

Aren't the tang pins much different on a latchless <~~ just some "Tang Pin Humor" guys.., and yeah Tom...Tony covered the whole deal for latchless models.., but I think they look cool too !

This is really old but still nice topic!
A latchless balisong,
1. is aesthetically good in terms of symmetry, especially with dagger blade,
2. has less aggression to environment for less parts, and
3. is a proof that you're one of the master balisonger who don't care which side you grip when manipulating it.
