This is my latest find a Custom Buck 124. I think the scales are elk and it is full tang. It is stamped BUCK (in script), CUSTOM, U.S.A, 0033. It has a mirrored finish 6-13/16" blade. I was wondering the age and the amount made. Thank you for your time in advance!

I checked the BCCI website and in the 12/06 newsletter is an article by Joe Houser and in it he lists a stag handled 124 as being produced from 1984-87. Kind sounds like your knife, which by the way is a beauty? Hope I was a little help to you. I'm sure some of the fellas will be along shortly to give you plenty of details.

Thank you colt for the link I seen that one but mine is a little different. Mine has no anvil mark and it has stag scales. Thanks again!

Gladiator, contact BUCK Knives (Joe Houser)and give them the serial # of your Custom 124 .
They will send you a DUPLICATE Certificate of all the info that they have for your 124.
I believe it is a one off,not a series.Sambar Stag.

Hello Glad,
I looked your knife up with the serial number and found that in 1982, Cabela's in Nebraska placed a large order that consisted of, amoungst other things, 24 model 124's in stag. Of, of the relatively few custom 124's made in stag, this store ordered 24 of them and yours is from that order. I dont know how much they retailed for back then.
Nice find!
