Been playing a bit, and trying a couple things. It has been a blast. I think you guys here may appriciate it. With the pump blowing under the coals I can get it hot enough. It has been fun trying this at home. My first two I did out of old files. Much easier to start with annealed stock. What do you think Jeff. :D I have used a vertical belt sander to put the grind on the blade. here is the link. http://www.knifeforums.com/forums/showtopic.php?fid/72/tid/826332/pid/1570818/post/last/#LAST

Nice work, Cody. The pic on the very first post is what I like the best though :D

Like we have always said, Justin is one of the finest people in this industry.

It has been alot of fun. Monitarily, not so much. If I add up the hours spent, the knives would cost me $600-$700. Worth every second. Great learning experience. :D

I bet ,my wife asked me why I never got into making my own knives,I told her it would take away from buying Great knives from Great makers....

Unfortunately, it has not stopped that. Waiting on an RC6. Have a bushcrafter coming from Blind horse knives. Oh yea, a custom RD9 from Justin is in the works aswell. About the time my budget recovers from that, the Sere and Tak will be out. it is a never ending cycle. :D
