I haven't had a chance to post any sheath pictures here in a while so I thought I would show this one I just finished. Just so y'all know I'm still around.

That's a good looking sheath! Looks very well made. I really like that knife too.
Very nice package, the owner will be thrilled I'm sure.
 
Thanks for the comments guys. Rayban the retainer strap is one that I have used for years and I really like it. You just pull the strap off the stud and then pull the knife out of the sheath. The guard unwraps the strap as the knife comes out and keeps it away from the edge. when you put the knife back in the sheath you just take a finger and wrap it around the handle and push it down on the stud. The strap is facing toward the back and less likely to come unsnapped if you are going through thick brush. I have used one since the late 70's and haven't had a problem with cutting the strap at all.
 
I saw the post on another forum on this knife, I think Charlie had posted it. I had wondered what the sheath looked like. Thanks for posting it here. I really like that style. Looks really good. Goes great with that lovely Ironwood.
