Lava for textured black G10 and clip

I'll go ahead and put this up to get it in line with the rest of the stuff here from forum members.

Still have some non forum member stuff I'm knocking out but its about done.

This Lava still has the plastic sticky on the handle. Its here at the backyard to lose some weight.

When done it will sport new textured black G10 scales and a standard style titanium clip bead blasted for a finish, and a nice sinnet knot lanyard made for it by my lovely wife. :thumbup:

No problem. You'll be happy to know I started this one yesterday after some issues with not having parts I need on the project right in front of it.

I'll have to get back to that one later if Spyderco ever returns a call to me after four tries!

Anyway, this one is moving along swimmingly.

You can't make out the texture looking at this scan but this is a scan of black textured G10 just like the stuff Spyderco uses on their production knives. Sure feels good in the hand. Should make for a very nice, light weight but strong folder for you with ample grippy texture to get it in and out well in all climates, as well as secure it to your grip. Stay tuned. Done soon on this one.

Here are some teaser pics of your new 1.9 ounces of pocket joy! Its the first black textured G10 Lava I've seen. :thumbup: You can also see some good shots of the lanyard my wife ties for me. These are pretty cool actually and its a knot you won't often see too!
