Leather Sheath for RC-3

Can anyone recommend a good custom leather sheath for the RC-3? Preferably a horizontal belt sheath. Thanks!
 
It's not horizontal but Derrick at knivesshipfree carries a sweet leather sheath for the RC3 and 4
 
Are you talking about the Sharpshooter? I'm looking for something more custom without the firestarter and horizontal. Any custom makers out there?
 
I was also going to recommend Sharpshooter. I can't be positive but he might do custom sheaths as well. It would be worth getting in touch with him and checking. His sheaths are really top notch. Il Bruche also does some great sheaths.
 
Check out Chuddybear Leather. He does a lot of custom work for Busse. I have a couple of his sheaths and they are top notch.

There are A LOT of custom sheath makers out there that would be willing to make a sheath for you. The problem you run into with customer leather work is that you end up spending more on the sheath that what you spent on the knife.

Take a look through the Sheath Maker forum on here and check out some of the websites for the guys that post and you'll get an idea.

I was looking for a leatherman multi tool so I decided I would try to go to their website and get a feel for what they offer and I accidentally typed in leathermen.com instead of leatherman.com, and trust me that e makes a big difference. :barf:
 
Tony that is a nice setup... 2 questions What are DF/ DM's(Dog Father and Dumpster Mutt?)and what is the length of that setup?
 
Correct....I did not measure the OAL of sheath but the DF is 15" oal w/10"blade and DM is 9.5" oal w/5" blade but both knives slightly thicker than .275 just guesstamating I say it is 18" not including the dangler and about 2.5" thick not counting psk holder. I am going to talk to Jeff Law "rain walker" here on BF about another sheath to house the RC6 and RC3,that away I can keep the factory RC6 sheath strapped to my Pygmy Falcon II
 
Yea I like that idea. Be able to strap it on for just walking through the woods(scouting) then throw it on the pack for hiking
