Leatherlined Kydex for an Old Skool Busse

For those who loath those kydex scratches..
Fear no Longer!!!


This sheath is lined with stiffened and deep waxed veggie tanned leather that's riveted with the kydex..

Great looking work. Normally dont like Kydex but lined with leather would be nice. The only down side that I could think of is the leather will not be able to breath, or dry out if it gets wet.
 
amazing work.sheath looks great.your work is outstanding.i have a leather lined sheath on my jason taylor.it rocks.heres a pic

I'm not affraid that will happen. I soaked the leather in beeswax, and it's pretty much saturated with that so there's no more room for water. The tip of the sheath contains a really big drainage hole to let water out and air in..
Even though there's kydex involved you should look at it as a leather sheath with some of the added benefits of kydex like stiffness and retention..
 
Yes.. Got word that it's on it's way..
Should be a couple of weeks though with the customs and all..
