Leatherman crunch mod

Alright so I have a leatherman crunch I've been using for a while and I'm gonna cut not so much a "pry-bar" as a "light pry-bar nail-puller." I was wondering if anybody had any tips ?

would it be more useful to have it cut with a l_l or a ^-^ type shape in the middle

any idea of how I could do this cleanly? I want it to look like its meant to be there
