I recently got this sheath in the mail, from leatherman. It was the prize for a contest that he ran and I was lucky enough to win. It makes a beautiful home for my desert Camp Tramp. Thanks Leatherman!

Thanks guys, this was one I started in my usuall lefty backwards way, it was supposed to be a right handed sheath!:o Then I figured that I would give a little back. The Swamp and Busse has been very good to me this last couple of years and it seems like the thing to do to say thanks!:D

To those that missed out alltogether.........keep your eyes peeled;)

Hey lookee there -- an EZE LAP holder :D
Nice rig Dwayne -- really like the dangler loop. Perfect setup for the Jeep or a truck.

Oooh yea, nothing like a knife handle in the ribs to make the day real long! This one just bends out of the way, I have always liked the danglers on bigger knives. Heh, tried it on a small knife once.....long story short, it just wanted to hang upside down! The blade has to be heavier than the handle.

Hey Viking! I'll be awaiting the call....:D Hows that shark holding up??:)

Wow - I've never seen anyone else make a dangler like that. I love the slot for the eze-lap sharpening stick.

I used the dangler idea for a sheath for the Infi-Coot I got via Gundy. I'll send some pictures to Eric and see if he can post them for me. One trick to try with short knives (handle-heavy)is to line the lower part of the sheath with a slip of folded thin brass sheet - this acts as a safety liner and gives the bottom of the sheath a bit of weight. The dangler works really well for cross-draw - you can tilt the sheath forward with your weak hand for a direct withdrawal or replacement.

Nice work there Chris!!:D Nice craftsmanship from the looks of it as well. I like the idea of the lining, I've been toying with the metal liner for a while now. Even bought some aluminum sheeting. Guess I gotta get off my duff and get to work!:p

Oh yea, Alpha, I forgot to ask if you had an EZ Lap Mdl M or not! :o

Eric - thanks for posting the pics for me.

Leatherman - thanks for you comment. That's the third sheath I've made, and I must admit I was pretty please with the way it turned out. Leather's lovely stuff to work with!
