Leek pivot help

[Orion's Belt]

I wanted to try to de-assist my CB Leek but can't get the pivot out. The one side just spins. I tried holding some rubber on the side that spins to keep it still enough to loosen the pivot, but it didn't work. Any ideas?

Take the clip off, place a rubber band over the pivot, folded in half
Replace the clip and snug it down
With strong downward pressure slowly turn the pivot screw with the correct size driver.
Works every time.

If you hold the blade against a table on an angle and apply a little pressure the pivot will loosen right up.. I've done it time and time again

If that doesnt work, try opening the blade and rest it on the edge of a table with a little downward pressure on the handle and then unscrew the pivot.

Well, it worked. But, I quickly decided that I like the Leek better assisted.
