Leek rattling torsion bar

It's a really easy fix; put a little bit of grease in the torsion bar cavity. There are at least a couple of threads on here on the subject; if you do a search, you should be able to find out which kind(s) of grease are suggested (I don't remember off the top of my head). Happy tinkering! :-)

Since you've already had it apart you know how to do that so just take it back apart and slap some grease in there. Everything from Vaseline to gear grease has been suggested so whatever you have around, put a gop in there. :)

High temp grease would work best. When it's hot and muggy outside, the chances of the grease liquifying and ruining your close is less likely. I like the rattle personally. ;)

Yup, as everyone else has said, a little grease will stop the rattle. Remember though, grease, not oil. It needs to be thick in consistency.

I put plain ole Wally's house brand petroleum jelly in my rattling Tremor in early spring. Has worked fine thus far, and I walk in the 90-100 temps we've had most of the summer, get drenched with sweat and so does the knife. No probs.

Thanks for the tip guys. This is kinda pissing me off though. I wanted to sell the Leek NIB since I changed my mind on a few knives I wanted, but since I have to open it I won't have that option so I decided to keep it.

Now, I bought BNIB 3 OD Green Scallions at a great price not too long ago. I noticed my EDC had the same rattle. Was like... meh, ok. Not too bad, I'll open it up. Thing is though, the 2 other Scallies were to sell. And guess what, all 3 rattle...

Wtf are the odds of that?
