Hi all:D I took Plumberdv's advice and sent off a project ivory knife to Leesa Martin for scrimshaw.I dont think i could be happier with both the process or certainly the work.Her detail is really amazing.I just wanted to give her a shout out and my highest reccomendation.That David is one lucky fella id say.;)Thanks to you also David.What follows are some low quality pics that may give a hint of Leesa's skill.

Don, those are great pictures and another great example of her talent! What a beauty! I'm so glad that I was a small part of introducing Leesa's talent to the forum members.

Leesa is currently working or getting ready to work on engraving the bolsters of a 110 with mammoth ivory scales that I sent her. The wooly mammoth's and sabre tooth cat scrimshaw is awesome and I can hardly wait for the final touches to be done.

Well done Leesa!!!
 
Great job, Leesa. I have been looking at your work and you are a true artist. Anyone would be proud to own a knife that you worked on.

That is outstanding... The detail is great. I really like the facial expressions
