Lightweight fightin hawk

I was looking at Slasinski tomoahwks at Ragweed Forge ( http://www.ragweedforge.com/ThrowingCatalog.html#slasinski ) and I thought the Kids hawk looked like a really good idea for a fighting hawk. It's light weight would make it easy to carry and reall fast, plus the thin head would make penetration very good. Any ideas about the use of a lightweight hawk such as this in lieu of a fighting knife? It seems to have reach and utility advantages as well...
