I am wanting for no good reason another all stainless Sypderco to go with my Scorpius... but a big one this time. I normally carry a larger knife (Manix is EDC ever since it hit the streets) and I like the Endura size knives.

What to choose?

I'd go with the Police or Endura 4.

And for good measure:

Edited out my offer. Wasn't going to make any money on it, in fact, I was going to give it away just to be a good guy. Oh, well. I am sure I can help someone else out soon. Just wanted to pass along some kindness that was shown to me.

I've wanted to point people in the direction of my for sale thread too, but I've heard it's frowned upon, just a heads up. It's kind of a form of spamming I think. May want to just PM them instead.

It's not at all useful or practical but the Adventura does look interesting from an aesthetic standpoint. I just wish it had a more conventional edge... that weird recurve does nothing for me.

Wondering if I shouldn't get a Stretch while they're still aroud... true they do have the inserts but that's a good knife.

The new Endura looks nice too.

The Stretch has a lot of fans. I haven't owned one yet, but I've been looking at it for a long time.

You can't go wrong with the Endura 4.

If you haven't used a recurved blade like the Adventura, you don't know what you're missing;) The Adventura is literally a scalpel. It's extremely thin and light. See if you can try one in a local store, it's quite fun to use.

Really?

Maybe I should consider it then. The only recurve I've ever had was on a CRKT Plan B and the shape didn't really impress me too much... maybe it was the fact it was an inexpensive knife.

I'm not downtalking CRKT, but Spyderco is several notches up in quality and design.

The ATR is built, and feels, like a custom, but it's really only comfortable in one grip.

The Adventura is definitely a great way to try out a recurve. It's not exorbitantly expensive, and it's easy to carry, it practically disappears in your pocket.

Though it can be tough to sharpen if you're not used to the curve(took me a while to get it right:o )

It's also not the right size you're looking for, it's about average sized, I believe it's smaller than an Endura.
