Pen Knife review forthcoming...

Here's a picture of the Pen Knife lined up with 3 of its buddies.

(from the top)

20" Sirupati - dirty from usage (got polished after I took the photo)

15" BAS

13.5" Bulldog Villager

12.5" Pen Knife

Wow Dan, that looks great.

You should do an illustration with your original design as a background to the real knife. ;)

Like the collection, Pen.

I noticed that each forumite that posts pix has their own interesting backround on which to display their khuks. We often get to see either Uncle's rug or floor, and we've seen my red/gold couch cushion in a few pix, now we see Pen's green silk background! Very snazzy!

You should be very proud. Nice that Bura did the work, as well.

You are a part of HI history now.

Nice looking knife Pen:)

It reminds me of a bolo machete--if I'm thinking of the right thing? I bet that chops well.

You know that deep belly sort of reminds me of a YCS a little too.

I like it:)

Come to think of it, the 12" AK hadn't been made for some time when I begged, pleaded, and persuaded Uncle to bring it back. To try just one run of 8.

I also remember doing the same with the villagers - but that was easier - he liked the ugly little things himself. Can't remember who if anyone else was in on that. And now we have a Himalayan Imports line and the Birghorka marked villagers.

Yvsa got some "kit" black unmounted blades.

And I think the Hanuman special led to the 18" WW2. I think Bill started the foul up that led to that. He tried to order the Hanuman blade ( dui or tin chirra ) on a regular handle. What arrived in Reno was a Hanuman handle on a 1&1/2 longer WW2 blade. 18" overall. Those who got the "mistakes" liked the thing so much they insisted on putting the extra long blade on the regular WW2 handle. Thus the 18" WW2.

And Terry Sisco and Dave K leading to the M43.

Yvsa's Cherokee Special and now the Cherokee Rose.

I guess that makes you a part of HI history Dan.

Rusty = thanks for the inspiring words.

Keith = I'm with you, man...;)

PhilL, Ferrous, Kismet, MauiRob & Raindog = Thanks for the kind words.

As to whether or not this Pen Knife will ever make the "shelf", only the customers can say. If there's a market, it will stay. If not, it will die off...

Of course, being the pest that I am, that may never happen...;)

(poor uncle! )
