Just got in a plain one and it has no markings. Got this from Botach. Is this the difference between the S30V and the 440V blade. This is supposed to be the 440V blade. Just afew differences. Blade looks a bit longer, smaller thong hole, complock has wider opening w/ serrations(better)and the blade stop screw shows. Is this right?

Check out Mr. Blonde's Blog via the Spyderco website/forum. He did a very good review on several variations of the L'il T. His information should answer all of your questions. This is his site I think. www.spydercollector.nl/

That's just it. My serrated model with an S30V blade has all the markings but the 440V has none. I will check the link above. Thanks.

If the stop pin has visible screws, I believe it's a 440V, so you've got the right one.

Though having a sterile blade is kind of cool, does it have any Spyderco markings at on the blade, or is just missing the steel?

Yes, the stop pin screw does show unlike the S30V model. The blade is fine and is a bit longer than the S30V. There are just no markings at all anywhere, including Sal initials on the clip. It actually feels better in the hand.

I did post this on the Spyderco forum, maybe someone from Spyderco can comment on this.
