Just got a Li'l temperance and I do like it. It would not open smoothly so i opened it. One side had a thin cellophane- like bushing and none at all on the other side.Holes for the tipdown clip came thru to the blade from the handles and thread lockers(red) had hardened on where the bushing was supposed to be .Cleaned it up and now putting brass bushings. Just want to know if they are all made like that. Inspite of this, I like the knife and will be a daily edc rotation. I do plan to make the handles abit smaller at the butt end.

All of the Lil' Temps I've handled (only 3 of them of though) have had the nylon washers, but usually on both sides, and the clip screws don't usually come all the way through to the blade(mine were pretty close though). Sounds like yours had a little too much loctite on the screws, if it gunked up the opening.

Just finished slendering my lil temp and added phosporous bronze bushing. Perfect! Very smooth and can close with one hand now. Now, on to another temp with a plain edge! love this knife, next to my modded CJ ZDP!!
