Ok I am fairly new to these forums but I have been a Spyderco fan since 1984. After reading a few posts I have seen mention of limited runs of Spyderco's, notably the Blue Lum Chinese Folder. Not wanting to be left out of the loop so where should I check to see about any limited runs?

As they come along, there will be a lot of chatter about them on this forum. For older runs, that may still be lurking in internet shop inventory, you would have to look through the Spyderco listings for each dealer.

I myself am fairly new to Spyderco's, and I've been wondering what I would have to do in order to acquire a CF Harpy ?

I know it's coming up in a sprint run, yet I do not know how difficult it is to purchase one, nor what I have to do, and if I can even get my hands on one living outside of the U.S. ?

As a recent Spyderco convert, I am doing my best to catch up, and get my hands on any of the rare Spydie's that I come accross, and with an admiration for Spyderco's Hawkbill blades, a Harpy is a must have, let alone a carbon fibre harpy!

Any information is greatly appreciated.

They aren't out yet, but I'd assume you can pick one up without much trouble if you get them around the release time. Try places like New Graham or eBay even. It shouldn't be too difficult once they are actually out there for purchase.

Infamous,
You can contact any dealer and ask what their terms are for preorder. The alternative is to wait, watch and take your chances.
