I own a Linder Bowie and was under the impression when I bought the knife that it had 440C steel. Can anybody confirm this or correct me?

Thanks,
jj

Hi Jeff, as far as I know Linder always puts on the blade 440 C if the blade is made of it otherwise they use an German equivalent of the 440 A/B.
Since some time they also have an series in ATS34 which will also be marked as that on the blade. I'll take a look at an catalog I bought from them. Tell me the Bowies name/number and I'll try finding it for you. Cheers, Bagheera
