Hey all. I own a recently purchased rc-4 with linen micarta handles. I am thinking about getting the tan blade version with the canvas handles. Anyone have experience with both rat handle versions? Or particularly like the one they have? Please let me know about the differences in feel on the rc-4 depending on the handle and which one you prefer. Thanks.

That isn't to say that your opinion isn't based on how both rc-4's feel...I know that it is. But I am interested in others' preferences.

I prefer canvas, because of the increased grippiness, but I'm so sick of everything being tan/coyote these days, that I didn't buy that RC4.

Canvas here, too. On the desert tan/foliage green ones I don't find the tan to be at all overdone. It actually tends to look pale green!

Man...I thought the desert was a satin finish from the picture on the site I got my RAT....I guess I should read better, canvas would have been so much more grippier then the linen....

I am the contraian here. I like both and honestly don't notice much difference in feel once I am using it. I think in my living room the canvas is more grippy, but the linen is plenty grippy in use.

Actually I have always thought that Linen has more grip to it than Canvas when it's wet. Linen, to me, is a much better all-around user than canvas. Just my opinion.
