Linked Drive Belts?

Finally getting the shop set up after a long moving sabatical and wondered about your experiences with the linked drive belts. My setup uses one motor to drive an 8' shaft mounted through pillow blocks, then the belts drive three different work stations at the front of the bench. The main grinder with a hard wheel and two more stations with different buffingwheels.

It is a proverbial pain the $*&& to change belts when you need to:grumpy:. If the link style belts will hold up, it would sure make changing them alot easier. I know Dave Evans (Windancer) recently installed some, but was curious if anyone has longer term experience. Thanks in advance for any info you can provide. Terry

Terry I have them on the knife grinder, lathe and table saw. Love 'em.
