Lister knife(movie:From Hell)

The movie "From Hell" had a knife called a lister knife. Does anybody have any info AND/OR pics of one?

If I recall the movie was about Jack the ripper ; it would have been a
post mortem embalmer's knife of around late 18th century, when the
"White Chapel murders" occured.

Have you tried entering it on a search engine just as "lister knife"
to see if you get any "hits"?

Not sure about the knife but I do know that From Hell is a horrible, boring movie. Heather Graham sure knows how to stink a movie up.

Hi,

You've got the name of the knife wrong, it's Liston. They're long knives used for Amputations, and such. I'm not sure if they're still used today.
