Been admiring the folders from LJ Thompson on some of the websites. Haven't heard much about this gentleman, anyone have comments to share about his knives and work?

Well if your speaking of L.J. Thompson out of Forest Grove, Oregon I have one of his knives. He is a very nice gentleman, soft spoken and quiet. i see him when I go to the Solvang Show.

I have a liner lock folder w/maroon micarta scales, blue anodized liners, 2 1/2 ats34 blade w/hand rubbed finish. It is a very clean well made knife and his prices are very good.

He makes multi-blade folders with stag that are some of the best I have seen and for the price they are the best.

You won't go wrong with one of his knives.

I have one of his folders in my collection. It is a locking liner with blue anodized frame and bolsters. The scales are premium gold lip pearl and the blade is polished ATS-34. It's a beauty!!! One of these days I'm going to take pictures of the few knives I have in my collection. I'll try to remember to post a picture of this one.

Bottom line is you can't go wrong buying one of his knives.
