Lobo micarta handle question

John,
While on the Denali hwy. Bactine (active ingredients benzalkonium and lidocaine) was spilled in my bag soaking my Lobo handle. Later that nite while batonning on spine after a few whacks w/ another piece of birch the handle came off. Guessing the bactine antiinfective denatured the epoxy/glue.
Did a field repair w/ gorilla glue and clamps-works but is messy as glue expanded...a lot and smooth pins now out of alignment. I will send it to you for repair-after my fall hunt next week-my question is how long will repair take? And would you recommend another method to attach handle (bolsters w/ hole in middle and lip over some of the micarta-busse style)?

Thanks for your time and I love the knife-takes a great keen edge and steel is tough!
